Tirana is where a lot of people reset mid-trip. It sits at the centre of the country and on the natural route between the Balkans and the coast, so a laundry stop here saves carrying two weeks of washing into the mountains or down to the Riviera.

Both models operate: self-service machines you load yourself, and service washes where you drop a bag off and collect it later the same day or the next morning. Prices are low and most places charge by the load rather than the item. The central and Blloku branches are used to visitors and will usually quote a collection time on the spot.
