Tirana Parking

Parking is the main reason not to drive inside Tirana. The centre runs on paid street bays with an attendant or a machine, and the streets around Blloku fill early and stay full through the evening. Multi-storey and underground car parks sit beside the larger malls and hotels and are the reliable option.

If you have hired a car for trips out of the city, check whether your accommodation has a space before booking; many central apartments do not. Leaving the car parked and walking or taking taxis inside the centre is usually less trouble than moving it.
