Doina chose the mattresses, linen and pillows herself, and the breakfast is described as gourmet and abundant.

A fully equipped kitchenette comes with the family's own recipe book, so guests can try Albanian dishes themselves, and there are two lounging areas among the flowers for smoking or sitting. The hosts will meet arrivals at a central point in the city, and are as likely to join guests for a drink as to hand over the key.
