Six other tombs of the same type once stood around it.

It is a mausoleum four metres high built of dressed stone, eight classical columns joined by arches around an eight-sided plan, raised for one of the city's Toptani rulers around 1820 to 1830. A carved inscription on one column names Kapllan Toptani but is now illegible except for a date in the Islamic calendar, and his remains were later moved to Istanbul. Protected as a cultural monument, it is passed by far more people than notice it.
