Tirana Pharmacies
Pharmacies in Tirana
Pharmacies in Tirana are easy to find and cheap to use. The green cross marks them, they sit on most main streets, and the density is highest around Skanderbeg Square, along the boulevard and through Blloku. Staff in central branches generally speak some English or Italian.
More is available over the counter here than in most of western Europe, so a pharmacist can often deal with a minor problem without a doctor. Several branches open twenty-four hours and the overnight rota is displayed in the windows of those that do not. Bring your own regular medication; exact brand equivalents are not guaranteed.
