Tirana Airport transfers

Tirana International Airport sits at Rinas, seventeen kilometres northwest of the centre, and the run takes about thirty minutes outside the rush. A pre-booked transfer means a fixed price agreed in advance and a driver waiting in arrivals, which is worth having on a late-night landing or with luggage and children.

The alternatives are the airport bus, which runs to the centre through the day at a very low fare, and airport taxis, which are metered but negotiate at the rank. Transfers also run direct to Durres, Kruja and the southern coast if you are not staying in the capital.
