It matters to visitors for one reason: the food. The district carries a genuinely good run of restaurants, pizzerias and cafes serving a residential crowd, and prices sit below what the same meal costs three streets into Blloku. Because almost nobody staying for two nights walks out this far, the rooms are filled with people who live nearby, which is usually a reasonable sign.
There are no landmarks here and no reason to come except to eat, drink coffee or sleep somewhere cheaper. It is about twenty-five minutes on foot from Skanderbeg Square and a few minutes by taxi. Apartment stays in the surrounding blocks are quiet and priced accordingly, with the trade-off that you will be taking a car home at the end of a late evening.
