Around Tirana

From Skanderbeg Square and Blloku out to Pazari i Ri, the Grand Park, Mount Dajti and the airport at Rinas.

Tirana sits on a plain between the Erzen and Lana rivers with Mount Dajti closing it off to the east, and its districts behave differently. The centre holds Skanderbeg Square, the museums and most of the landmarks; Blloku, one quarter south, carries the eating and drinking; Pazari i Ri northeast of the square is the market and the traditional kitchens around it. The Grand Park closes the boulevard at the southern end. Tirana e Re and Komuna e Parisit are residential and cheaper. Dajti and Rinas sit outside the built city, one for the view and one for the airport. Each place below links to the restaurants, accommodation, tours and services within it.
