Shopping Centres in Tirana
Tirana's malls are recent and are where the international chains sit. Toptani Shopping Center is the central one, built into the block just east of Skanderbeg Square, which makes it the easiest to reach on foot and the obvious stop for anything you forgot to pack.
The larger centres are out towards the ring road and the Durres highway, with cinemas, supermarkets and food courts alongside the shops, and they need a taxi or a bus. Opening hours run late, typically to ten at night including Sunday, which is longer than most independent shops in the centre manage.
