Tirana Buses

Tirana has no central bus station. Intercity services leave from separate terminals depending on where you are going, with the northern and southern departures handled at different sites on the edge of the centre, so check which one your route uses before setting out.

Alongside the scheduled coaches run furgons, shared minibuses that leave when they fill rather than to a timetable. They are cheap, quick and go almost everywhere. City buses cover the urban routes at a flat low fare, paid to a conductor on board, and the airport bus links Rinas with the centre through the day.
